I like it, Tombo.

Yup Tom, I took the day off. I woke up at 2 pm... my voice is almost completely gone, and I feel like I have swallowed a watermelon, but at least I didn't have to work today.

EDIT: Apparently being sick also affected my ability to spell.

Yeah, not having to work can work wonders. Even if it doesn't help you get better, it sure makes you feel better.

 

There's an old Dutch children's song about that: "Being sick, rather nice, being sick, nothing is more fun..."

I always got a kick out of being "sick" and not having to go to school.

 

I used to tell my mom that I needed a day off, and she'd let me. She never really liked the idea of school, anyway.
