Solo Things you want to see in Solo: A Star Wars Story

Little nods to the saga films would be great however.

Han dropping his shipment for Jabba.

The Kessel Run route.

Spice mine crates.

Han at a Sabacc game table.

stuff like that.

 

I'm just saying...Alden signed on for three films, but who knows what that could mean.

 

I want to see Han's brother, Una Tuta Solo.
It would give all new meaning to ANH, since we'd then realize that Greedo was actually looking for Han's brother.

 

And his cousin Thracken Sal-Solo

1.) The film to begin with a Harrison Ford cameo -- an old Han telling his infant son, Ben, who sits snuggled up in Chewbacca's comfy arms, about his life and then transition into the story. This would provide the film with sooooo much weight and more legitimacy. It can still be a good film without this, but I desperately hope it happens.

 

I know it's cheezy perhaps, but the one single thing I'd like to see the most in this film is Kessel. The spice mines, the whole Maw situation, and perhaps even Han actually acheiving the kessel run (in 14 parsecs). That whole region is something I've always been intrigued with, and the only visual bit of it I've ever seen was in the old Rogue Squadron game, years ago.

I've also always wanted to see the spice mines. I'd like for Chewie to be involved in a Spartacus-like slave revolt there.

 

Yes, hopefully we'll get to see some spice mines. They could probably shoot on location in a place like this and then enchance the backgrounds with CGI.

 

I kind of doubt that they'd get Harrison Ford back honestly. He seems to consider his work with the Han character to be finished now.

 

I'd like to see Boba Fett, Dengar, Cad Bane, Hondo ... and Empire. Lots of it.

As long as Han turns out to have been smuggling Oregano and Cumin. It's Star Wars. They have to keep it wholesome.

The Battle of Tanaab, showing whatever Lando pulled off (that Han must have witnessed) that landed Lando a generalship at Endor. Maybe coordinating a fighter attack against a Victory Star Destroyer? Oh, maybe Han is a pilot operating from that VSD.

Corellia, we need to have the planet on film at some point and this movie is a natural fit for it.

I'd be happy to see this as a trilogy, there are so many things that could be filled in but I think cramming all of them into one movie would be a terrible idea.

 

I'd like to see some Brian Daley material in the movie. Rather than make it an origin story, or some great and pivotal event in Han's life, just do something like Han Solo at Stars' End: a rip-roaring adventure with Han and Chewie, that has no foreshadowing of the OT or prophecies thereof.

 

No word on casting Young Nien? Young Lobot?
