Roonans (it was great that we got a Roonan Jedi although he had no character development);
Episodes with background Jedi as main characters (although they are not as frequent as I wished for);
Z-95 Headhunters (I wasn't expecting them to be part of the GAR, but it's still cool that they got in the series).

More interesting non-human characters - check

Uh, let's see...

- Rape Boba's reputation by turning him into a crybaby ***** (language) - check.

- Rape Grievous' reputation by turning him into an inept and frankly pathetic excuse for a TV show villain, at the expense of the fantastic microseries characterisation - check.

- Shoehorn in OT characters for no reason - check.

- Mandalorian fanservice - check.

- Give Barriss massive boobs - check.

- Reignite my intense hatred of Padme - check.

- Turn Dooku into super-evil Sidious 2.0 at the expense of extensive previous character development in other material - check.

- Make an army of Darth Mauls and bring the OG back for more fanservice - check.

- Write new, poor quality canon and have it forcibly inserted into EU material while simultaneously contradicting, overwriting and nullifying existing EU material of markedly better quality - check.

Mandalorians in large numbers, as disciplined paramilitary terrorists, as slimy police officers and as barbaric warriors - check

Exploration of different types of Jedi, from detached stoics like Luminara Unduli to dark side thugs like Pong Krell - check

Appearance of Republic military officers, including clones with hats - check

HUMANS! At long last, there are substantial numbers of background humans who aren't just re-textured Death Watch bombers - check
