New Jersey Third and official meeting!

OK folks, this is the moment we've been waiting for. March the 15th we are going to have our 3rd and first OFFICIAL meeting of the New Jersey Order! The meeting will take place in Quakerbridge, New Jersey. If anyone would like directions to the location, you should PM Satimber; he knows the area best. For any other questions, you can contact myself.

I'm still not up on the whole "Fan Force" idea for NJ. I like the whole take on the NJO, pretty sharp.

First off welcome to FF New Jersey Coral Duster, I'm the Treasurer of the FF and our next meeting is our third meeting which makes us an official Fan Force. The council is still debating a definite place, but we will be meeting in Quakerbridge for probably lunch, movie and our routine visits to Toys R Us and Barnes & Noble. I am quite sure that our co-president, Jedi_Satimber will stop by and give you the full 411 on everything that's going on. I have to go to class.

Welcome CD! P915 is correct. I will give you all the current details...

The Lawrenceville/Princeton area is the location for the 3rd Meeting.

On the Agenda
-Introductions of all members current & new.
-Further discussion of upcoming events & charity work.
-More Costume talk (for those that will be doing it)
-Lunch or Dinner (Most likely at T.G.I. Friday's)
-Possible movie show.
-Ritual trips to Toys R Us & Barnes & Noble to look at & discuss any SW merchandise & collections.

DarthGyos & myself will nail down the final agenda and meeting location next weekend, once we have a possible maximum number of attendees.
I may try and get the meeting set up in the B&N, much like our first meeting.

 

Congratulations guys! You're almost there! Looking forward to seeing one of you in the "Blue Zone" (aka the Chapter Rep forum) LOL.

 

OK, I have a question are we going to Quakerbrigde or Princeton Market Fair? The reason I ask is because the B&N is in PMF, but thats a bit further down on Rte 1.

I mean if we wanted to I was thinking we could try and call Quaker or something to see if there's a vacant store or something we could use for an hour. Or we could see about using a lounge or something at MacIntosh Inns or Embassy Suites(can't think of the name really of the place my PMF/Macaroni Grill)

As for restaurants we have a lot to choose from:

Chili's
Applebee's
Joe's Crab Shack
The various Malls
TGI Friday's
Hooters (I know. )
Banzai
Macaroni Grill
On the Border

Honestly, I'm not too keen on that TGIF's. It's rather cramped, although they do have a tiny offset to accomodate larger groups. I would suggest making reservations if we want to go there. I'm not sure about the others. Depending on the time of the meeting, some of these resaurants might be crowded. Usually around 3-4 is good between lunch and dinner rushes.

Just thought I would let you know.

 

Meriwyn, Ghosts is going to be that lucky guy.

And Arl...I think that we will be scratching Applebee's & Hooters from our list of potential eating places. They both have terrible food. And we did do Chili's already at the 1st meeting. We can always do Friday's at a later date...I just could not remember what else was up there.

And I will be scouting locations on the 8th, hopefully someone else will meet me & go with me.

 

That person won't be me Shawn, I'll be in New York until the 13th/14th.

Food is good regardless of where we go. Anything is better than the dog food crap I eat up here.

I know the Princeton/Quakerbridge area fairly well, so wherever we have to go won't be too much of a problem. And I hopefully will be able to drive there. More to come on that issue.

 

If your talking about the 8th of March, I'm sorry I can't go. I'm going to NC to meet my brother and fam for the weekend. It's going to be harried and brief but I won't be back up north until late on the 8th. Or else I would love to help you. If it were this weekend, possibly but otherwise, no.

Herb if you can't I'm sure someone could pick you up at Princeton Junction or Hamilton train stations.

 

Thing is that I'm gonna be coming home on the 13th or 14th and my step-dad will be picking me up in Trenton which is about 15 mins from where I live. I just need to settle the whole car issue with my parents, considering their work schedules and what not. ?
