    Here's something I forgot.
The 2 girls that have been volunteering at the past 2 events didn't want to come this year and sit at the tables all day. So they'll be face painting, Darth Maul and the Queen for the kids to go with the ep.I theme.

    That's excellent.

My brother told me that Walmart is selling Star Wars 3D kites in the shape of the Falcon, an X-wing fighter, and Vader's TIE fighter. They are $29 each. It would be cool to see one of those flying over the event.

Hey, no worries about that sign we saw in the park this week. The rules have not changed.

I can pick up the cakes - or get someone in my family to do it. They all have Costco memberships.

Lord_Robert, is there anyone out in your part of the city who can help you load the trailer with the AT-ST - or would it be possible to load it up ahead of time (if so, I can help on Thursday)?

Hey good news. I noticed on face book event a 501st member, Brian is coming. I hope he wears his Clone Commander Neyo costume.

Taz from FM 96 invited me to be on the morning show on Friday (7:00 to 7:30 AM). Who wants to join me?

My work schedule has changed again. Now I'm working 8am-4:30pm. If you need someone else for the radio show, I could make it for that. It's not far from where I work.

Also, if I still need to pick stuff up on Friday, it would have to be around 5:30.

Great. We should plan to be there just before 7:00. Maybe meet in the lobby by the elevator and all go up to the station together?

I can be there as well to load up my car.

The saber demonstration has been called off for Saturday. Derek at the Aikido Network has a funeral to attend, and has been unable to find replacements.

Today's event sure was a huge success, despite the ups and downs with the weather. I was very pleased to see such a great turnout. It's true that we got off schedule and were a little overwhelmed, but that's what happens when you only have so many volunteers.

I saw lots of smiling faces today, and I had my photo taken so many times I lost count. I was very happy to see so many members of the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion out in costume today too - not to mention the great "home made" costumes. It really is exciting to get to celebrate the magic of Star Wars with other fans and just have a fun time. I'm excited to see how the media covers it in the coming days.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this event - and for putting up with my sometimes off the wall suggestions over these last few weeks.
