Yep, and any new information or quotes that get added in. Last EGtC had some new details tucked away in places like Ackbar and Pellaeon's articles.

Exactly. There are always little new nuggets of info in the guides, which is a big part of why I buy them.

I'm still waiting for Waru to have an entry.

I want a damned Horton Salm article. Is he essential? No, not compared to other characters. But so help me God, if they do a "New Republic pilots" group entry, if he doesn't get a mention I will protest!

As I am currently re-reading the X-Wing books, I second this.

There's nobody capable of embarking on such a undertaking.

Just Salm? I want Varth, Narra, Crespin, Admiral Chel Dorat, Pepper Flarestream are all on my list. As are some non-pilots- Major Kerri Lessev and Rivoche Tarkin. What happened to them?
And given how much information we have from them in WEG, don't General Airen Cracken and Smuggler Platt O'Keefe deserve full entries?

...is there seriously a character named Pepper Flarestream? Is she a My Little Pony crossed with a Transformer?

Yep. Pepper is a nickname though. And Flarestream sounds like a Tatooine style name. No stranger than Skywalker, Fardreamer, or Darklighter.

On the topic of pilots, I thought this was relevant:

I won't even begin on the subject of fanon surnames, like "Shieldstun," "Lasergleam," and "Stealthgleam."

As for "Dutch"... I'd rather see that than "Feargripper."

Well, there are those Transformers/Star Wars toys. Maybe Tatooine surnames are derived from Transformers names, or vice versa?

Those are GFFA-build transforming mechas, not proper, sapient Transformers from Cybertron. Tatooinans aren't getting that free of a pass. ...just saying.

Dutch? Pales in question to "Dixie" - who, I guess, must come from the "southern" Empire?

Rockbender is my personal favorite in terms of weirdness.

Can't forget Mayor Snaplaunce from the same book. Though he was originally named by Hambly...

Overusing the Tatooinian naming convention is bad enough, but they should at least get it right - it's <noun><verb>er, not just any two real words stapled together. And yes, I realize that M--F--er is therefore an acceptable Tatooinian name. [face_thinking]

not it is not.. and the noun+verb+er rule covers only a small part of tatooinian names. What about my beloved "Cole Fardreamer"? "far" is no noun. or another example "Whitesun", no verb needed too but two words together in movie-canon, Beru's family name :p

Well Beru is married to Owen Lars, so obviously there are exceptions. :p

Obviously they were named after Flarestorm.

These are so obscure expect for the generals they probably don't deserve their own page.Give me Ranulf Trommer instead. I am really curious what happened to him.

Trommer? Properly hunted down by Boba Fett.

Platt O'Keefe and the Black Curs would certainly deserve an entry.

I won't make you say it. I'll just go on the record as seconding that motion.
