I'm detecting a pattern.
But yeah, the Banes would make for a great group entry.
Yeah, we could have Darth Bane, and Cad Bane, and Bane Malar, and...
...and Bane Nothos, don't forget him.
I demand more art and input on this gem I can't get soon enough!!!
and I still demand it to feature birthyears/dates for characters and other details like heigth etc. even if nobody in the EU cares to keep them consistant. this is the last character guide pre-sequels... lets give it a big EU WOW before the lights go out.. ahem I meant before the Sequels take up a third of the next one thereafter. which hopefully will no be the case due to a DK char guide covering most movie stuff anyway.
I wanna see new depictions of Lowbacca, A'Sharad Hett/Darth Krayt and Ben Skywalker
I mentioned before but seeing some of the prominate Moff's of the 18 ABY plus Empire would be most awesome.
Make it happen.
I hope it's fairly extensive (see The Old Republic Encyclopedia) and doesn't draw wholesale from the now defunct databank on the official site and the Complete Encyclopedia. I was very disappointed to have made that purchase only to see that entire paragraphs were lifted from the site.
You know, the last time a fan went after something this unrelentingly, a bunch of Mandalorians got whacked.
Those Mandalorians probably deserved it.
Are you referring to what I think you are referring to, the current subject of One Sentence or Less, True Colors?
Tarnta Bane shouldn't be left out either. WEG represent!
Nope. There was an issue of Star Wars: Republic (Forever Young, I think) where there's a bunch of dead Mandalorians who got massacred by some Geonosians or something. This was due to one of the posters here pestering Randy Stradley about the lack of Mandalorians being depicted in the old Clone Wars comics.
I haven't read any of the comics beside the Dark Empire Trilogy, so that doesn't surprise me that its something else, it sounded like a reference to the dead Mandalorians in Ko Sai's hideout.
That makes me worry that TCW's meddling is something more.
RC's got it. But it was more the DH boards than here, as I recall.
Ah. Well, that's what I get from using second-hand information.
BTW here's the relevant panel:
What's the story with this book and the ST?
I though the relevant panel was in Republic #65, where Mandalorians attack New Holstice.
Not much new info. But 150 illustrations! By Doug Wheatley! No less!!!
They're really running with the "cram as many pretty pictures as we can into these books" mentality, aren't they?
At this point I'm just relieved the thing still exists.
Maybe there'll be a ominous picture in the epilogue with just the words "THE END."
Agreed, but it isn't due to be released until October 2014, nearly a year and a half away. ALOT can change in that time. While I wouldn't shed a tear over Crucible or SOTJ, any guide penned by Dan Wallace and drawn by Doug Wheatley is EU gold as far as I am concerned. Having 150 characters is rather interesting. Does anyone remember off the top of their head how many entries where in the last guide?
Check the original post, baby!
