I have all the numbers in, but the final matchup will begin around 11:00 board time as requested by both finals GM's.

That is 2pm EST, I will do all I can to be at my desk at that time, but sometimes it is out of my control.

But I want to judge the finals, so hopefully the attorney's cooperate....

its a fair reuqest, however thats almost 2 hrs from now.them watching will not alter my vote or thinking.my point you cant assume we dont have work thats all.if they didnt assume that ,teh request would not have been made.i may being a little unpatient,i just want to get going on the next draft.

    Well, i'm on.

The reason I requested to Horax that we start a little later was so myself and QGJ2 would atleast have a chance to be here for the finals. Yesterday, by the time either of us got on, the first round of the Finals was already decided, and neither of us had a real chance to talk about the match-ups.

Anyways, like I said, i'm on and should be for quite a while.

Well, with the judges soon departing, I fear we cannot wait much longer for the battles to commence. We must start them immediately. Sorry if this causes any problems QGJ2.

    THE CHAMPIONSHIP, GAME 2:
Insane Force Posse vs. The Force Knights

Chevy Chase: Ok, well we saw a lot of action in the last round as the Insane Force Posse took out the Force Knights, thanks to some superior numbering. Let's see who will emerge triumphant, and who will go crying home to mama! The first number in this final round is 1!

    THE CHAMPIONSHIP, GAME 2:
Insane Force Posse vs. The Force Knights
    Luminara Unduli vs. Vergere

    LET'S GET IT ON!

Stay here, I am stepping out to get a sandwich, at 1:30, so I will be able to judge at least fora half hour from 2 -2:30, unless I get pulled off of lunch. the phone does not really ring until 3 ususally, so we might be ok here.

And who knows, I might be here all afternoon or not at all. You just never know.....

Well, atleast I got Luminara out of the way...

Let's see who will emerge triumphant, and who will go crying home to mama!

Wait a sec! My mama's not home today! So I can't go home crying to here; maybe that means I'll be the triumphant one! :D

    Or not... :p

    Luminara Unduli vs. Vergere
    - Well, this is a relief not to have Nomi v. Lumi III! Luminara takes this one. Any arguments? Explainations needed?

    Winner: Luminara Unduli

That is my pick. Let the judging begin.

Hoth may be powerful, but he's not up to Qui-Gon's level. Qui-Gon was said to one of the greatest swordsman in the Prequel era.

    THE CHAMPIONSHIP, GAME 2:
Insane Force Posse (1) vs. The Force Knights
    Lord Hoth vs. Qui-Gon Jinn
Decision: I tend to think that even with Lord Hoth's rise to fame during this draft, that Qui-Gon Jinn, with his talent and knowledge of the living force, would be hard to beat in a one on one setting. He survived an attack from a Sith before anybody knew that they were back in existance. I do believe that his swordsmanship is tops, and that he would defeat the mighty Lord Hoth in this battle. My vote goes for Qui-Gon Jinn here.

Tough call for me, I feel Hoth's battle experience flattens Qui-Gon's, yet in the first match-up of IFP and TFK, not the finals match, but the first time, Qui-gon beat Even Piell. Who is an AWESOME sword fighter, and I think Hoth would beat Piell with strength, but maybe not in Force ability. Qui-Gon is an all-star, and we just know so much more about him....Going with my gut, I say Qui-Gon.

    Winner: Qui-Gon Jinn

That is my pick. Let the flaming begin.

    THE CHAMPIONSHIP, GAME 2:

Lord Hoth falls to Qui-Gon Jinn

Chevy Chase: All tied up, imagine that! The next number is 5!

A'sharad Hett and Dark Woman via TRUMP vs. Nomi Sunrider

OUCH! Nomi gets over powered here and her battle meditation cannot do a thing about it. Too much at one time takes the Sunrider on a slow boat to loserville

Winner: A'sharad Hett and Dark Woman

That is my pick. Let the flaming begin.

I just want to add that the one battle with Vader is the only time I've seen Dark Woman pick up a saber. Hett is good, but is Tusken background leaves him a bit reckless. With her skills in Battle Meditation, which can be used to weaken enemies, this is hardly a clean sweep. Nomi does stand a chance of taking the trump.

Atleast I think she does :p

In the comics, she spars with Hett and kicks his arse.

That was also when he was just a padawan, I believe. And like I said, BM can be used to weaken the fighting prowess of the enemy, especially when used by a Master such as Nomi. This would keep them off balanced enough for Nomi to slash them up.
