Third meeting for the Albany Scoundrels

Well our second meeting went well. Started at Sabarros and ended up at a bar for an hour. Our Mascot has arrived and he was happy. I suggest you come to the next meeting if you want to hear his cool accent.
Sept 13 wont work for me. How about the 20th.

 

Well, now I'm here any day is good provided the people at the halls aren't forcing us to have mandatory fun like the "party" tonight!

I'm so mad I didn't go to the meeting last night. They forced us to go to some stupid candle lighting ceremony with fireworks and stuff and then a dumb outdoor disco.

 

Hey dont worry I will be planning a new one soon. I want to go to the NYC sept meeting if possible.

 

Ah, the candle lighting thing did sound like a load of crap - hence my not bothering!

 

He had better things to do like a star wars meeting and a bar. The man knows how to have fun.

 

Had a blast at the bar last night. Don't know about the 20th yet but I have 27th thru Oct 4 off from work...we really need people to see noggins' new shirt!

It's on the corner of Lark Street and Western Ave, right across from what I believe is a Dunkin Donuts. I could be wrong on that. If you're coming along Western from SUNY Albany and you get to Empire State Plaza, you've gone too far.

That's the best directions I can give.

All is good - I passed the place on Sunday on my way to the Lark Tav so I should be able to manage it!

And what time is this gonna be?

Yet there was no one there Damn, and I got myself all psyched up for a chicken balti!!

 

We were there! Except we were thinking of Tandoori Palace, not Ghandi. Got the name and place wrong - this one was on the corner of Lark and Madison. I didn't even know there was a Lark and Western.

Oh well, next meeting will be at the Troy Pub and Brewery. It should be a lot of good fun, with good food and maybe an RPI party afterwards.

Fill with Jagermeister!

My friend gave me the recipe and we've yet to find a bar that will make it.

 

i could have it made in my bar, i go every wknd. the manager would make it for me, just for fun.
