Madison, WI Third meeting?

Well, I came up with the date and place for meeting number one. Rick came up with the date and place for meeting number two.

Who's coming up with the time, date and place for meeting number three?

Here's my suggestion. I've seen several people with conflicts for next weekend and the weekend after. How about we have the third meeting on Saturday the 28th around 5pm and do something other than just meet at East Towne. I'm thinking bowling would be fun.

So, post here what you think. Say otherwise if you don't agree. Depending on what I hear from you guys, if there is no disagreement with this by the 14th, it will be declared as the plans for the next meeting.

Also keep in mind that we will have to select a FF Leader/Emperor/Supreme Chancellor/etc... once this meeting happens because this will be the magical third meeting and if we've got three or more posting members... WE ARE OFFICIAL!!!

So, let us know what your thoughts are. If necessary, feel free to contact me via PM or e-mail me if you have any questions, comments or concerns... Or just post them here and I'll respond to them (or maybe someone else tha may have just as good an answer if not better!).

ALSO: We will need to come up with a catchy name for us. I haven't got a clue myself.

Maybe we should just watch a bunch of Kevin Smith films and grab all the Star Wars references.

Or maybe with all the bars, and Madison's reputation for college parties and drinking, we could be the "Mad Ison Cantina"? How's that work?

 

Well, to stick to a Star Wars theme, how about one of these?

or
The Mad Jedi (a bit out of character for a Jedi, eh?)

Just a few ideas to pass out. Anyone else can throw out a few of their own. Something to use to discuss during the next meeting.

Just found out that the 28th won't work for me. Same for the 29th.

How does October 5th sound?

 

I'm pretty much open between the 28th of Sept, to 19th of Oct. so just pick something....quick.

 

I'm giving people until tomorrow to decide. If I don't hear anything by 4:30, it will be sent off to Sebulba-X as Oct. 5th at 5pm for the official time and date for the meeting.

 

Yes, but WHERE? Bowling Alley somewhere wouldn't cut it, huh?

I just need to know when and where and I'll be set.

What's the one nearest East Towne? Or we could always do Schwoegler's on the west side by Chuck E. Cheese's.

 

Bowlavard, is the one near East Towne, that would work better for me, cant really make it to the west side. It would work better if we met at east towne and then went on from there

I just happened to remember that more than once I had to find something else to do because the bowling alley was full.

Nope. Been busy with work, class, finding price comparisons for a front tire alignment, interviewing people, and other lovely schtuff that I haven't had time to. If someone else would be able to do so tomorrow, I would greatly appreciate it.

 

I wouldnt know where to begin, I'm to busy anyway trying to find out why I was only paid for 20 hours ivstead of 24

 

OK, since no one else jumped up to do it, I called.

Turns out that between 5 and 9pm, every Saturday, they have leagues and are usually full. So, that means we either try for something earlier or later.
OR move the meeting to Sunday. It's your call, people.
We do need to decide soon.
