This particular argument, yes.
I have some major issues with Facebook, but one thing I like that they do is they have the "Like" option below posts. Or how digg.com allows you to "digg" other people's posts by giving it up a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
A feature like this could really help clean up the boards by getting rid of "QFT" or "This" or even "+1" posts. The only time people would be required to post their agreement with a post is if they have something valuable to add to the prior poster's statement.

I don't see IGN implementing this, and I don't think it would be a good thing if they did.
That option would be much better to have around here than, oh, let's say the stars.
Stars aren't so bad if you have Firefox and Adblock as you've said before.
