I'd believe it. Most moves aren't original anymore. Although I liked playing Pacman, I ain't seeing a movie about him.

 

I'm holding out for the Pong movie.

 

If I admit that I watched the pac man animated series when I was young, does that make me a total geek?

 

I think I'd watch a movie based on a Star Wars video game.

There was an animated series? What sick freaks thought that up?! I'd say that doesn't make you a total dork but it definetly raises your stats. lol

As for a movie... So what are we gonna see, a big yellow dot in a maze eating pellets and the occasional fruit being chased by ghosts?

I'm predicting it will make around 5 million domestically. There are some out there who will pay to see this movie!

 

In the animated series he had a family (Mrs Pacman of course) and a job and everything. Maybe it will be a superhero movie. Pacman comes to save the day. LOL

Power pellets, yes that's right. I haven't played regular pacman in years. I think Ms. pacman really took off and was more popular than the original.

 

Hey, I liked Mortal Kombat -- the first one anyway.

Doom was well, other than the money shot of the FirstPersonShooter scenes, was pretty bad.

Let's not talk about Street Fighter, unless it's the Sonny Chiba one.

I can at least tell you the the Final Fantasy VII movie rocks. It's due the end of this month on DVD.

And less we forget, Peter Jackson is producing the Halo movie.

 

I'd like to see the X-Men Vs. Street Fighter movie, no matter how bad it is.

 

Tertris the movie.... It never ends! hahaha...

Wow... John Leguizamo and Bob Hoskins as Luigi & Mario? I never saw that, but suprisingly--those are two pretty excellent actors. Hmmm. Well, sometimes, no matter how good the actors are--the script, directing, etc. can suck the life out of it. After all, look at Tom Cruise in Eyes Wide Shut. Yeesh. Boy did he try.

There are a few video games that I am seriously planning on putting together as short fan films. But Balance of Power comes first. When all 3 episodes are completely with that, I can think of 3 video games that I want to see as films. That ought to be enough for the rest of my life considering I don't have access to thousands of people for thousands of jobs and roles to fulfill!
