Only for true baseball trivia nerds. I mean, I expect a few people who are hardcore about baseball history and trivia to get it right, but I wouldn't think it's easy for a casual/non baseball fan to get.

The next category is: University Mascots

100 - Sports teams at "The Farm" are named after this.
200 - Donald Duck is the mascot here.
300 - This was the mascot that preceded Traveler at a Southern California school.
400 - This is the mascot where the "Wizard of Oz" went to school.
500 - This is the mascot of the only NCAA Division II school that does not offer athletic scholarships.

Just a friendly reminder, more than one team who sent me their answers didn't use the form of a question. This is JEOPARDY! people. I won't be so lenient in later rounds if you forget to phrase your answer in the form of a question.

So I'm not playing, but I was hoping to learn some sports trivia. Are the answers going to be posted here at some point?

 

Also, after how many categories will scores be posted?

 

The next category is: Moving Day

100 - These two teams moved from New York to the West Coast following the 1957 season
200 - This team, originally in the AFL, has played in a Coliseum for all but six years of its existence
300 - This team, in its current location has made 23 playoff appearances, yet its only franchise title came in a previous city
400 - These Northerners almost had a team in San Francisco
500 - This team, once known as the Doves, has won 1 World Championship in each city it has played

 

I must caution people to ensure they are properly spelling their answers. I have been lenient for the first two categories, but as in the TV show Jeopardy!, there is a difference in pronouncing the answer incorrectly versus correctly. Also, I will list the answers to all of the questions at the end of the round, so after the 6 categories of the Jeopardy! round I'll list the answers. I originally said that score updates would be posted at the end of the round. Would contestants like a running score update of how well they are doing? Also, there is a rough 48 hour time limit between when I am posting the questions for each category. If I do not receive your team's answers by the time the 48 hours is up, you will get a zero for that category.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a score update to see how we're doing overall. Makes it a bit more competitive.

 

A point of clarification was asked about one of the questions during this round. To make the answer less ambiguous, hopefully, I am going to change a word in the answer. The 400 point answer was originally typed as above. I am changing it to the wording below.
