There are so many good lines, but for me it's not a line but that wicked smile after he tells Vader that he killed Padme.

But if I have to chose, then "Not from a Jedi" or "My little green friend." (How many of us have wanted to say that?)

 

My favorite Palpatine line would have to be " we will reorganise it, into the first Galactic Empire, for a safe and secure society."
It gives me chills.

His grin and squiny eyes when he says that are just creepy, gives me chills and brings a tear to my eye!

As far as importance to the story line, it's hard to beat this:

"Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth . . . Vader."

just before that:

"the force is strong within you...... a powerful sith you will become!"

the intonation he puts in it breeds such wickedness it just cracks you up!!

 

The Darkside has the pathway to many abilities, some concerered Unatural

 

power !!...unlimited....POWERRR !!!

the combination of the line and mace flying out of the window is just

 

My top 2 for him, "Learn to know the darkside of the force, and you will be able to save your wife from certain death."

"Good Anakin ,good, Kill him."

 

The line I find myself repeating is,
"Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy!"
