Provo This is the Renegade Fury to Fanfroce, Utah - Do you read me?

Hey everyone- some of you may know me already. My name's Matt Haupt and I'm a film student at BYU. I came to the DVD Release Party at Media Play and dressed up as an Imperial Officer.

Well, I thought I should report in and make my presence felt (now THERE'S a disturbance in the Force...).

And by the way - how's you film coming?

(For those of you who don't know, which is probably most, Matt's making a semi-Star Wars type movie.)

 

Hey, are you the one working on that thing with the swords that run off the power source through a glove? I think I met you at broadsword once.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I hope to be at the meetings! I really wish I had notice about that light saber night. I'm pretty handy with a sword... (I like going to the BYU swordfighting club)

And yeah, we wrapped pricipal photography on that film- which shrunk into a trailer since I didn't get enough done last semester. Gonna be putting it together this semester and summer... Special effects are fun.

Working on a new film right now. Not sci-fi. More like twilight zone. I'll tell y'all more about it laters. Hee hee.

Well... we could always have an activity where I would pitch the best idea for a fan film ever (according to me, of course).

Oh! We should have an activity when the full trailer for Ep. II comes out!

 

Sounds fun to me. I actually look forward to anything, since I haven't been to any meetings yet myself. I'm glad to see, though, that I'm not the newest here anymore.
