I just realized that a good percentage of my crushes are fictional characters.

 

dude but feris has a boyfriend......duh..

but he is hot, i like feris too...but not youg padawan feris, he was annoying....older feris he's fun!

 

Feris is indeed a hottie. And just because he has a boyfriend and is fictional is no reason that we females can't admire the scenery.

I've been waiting for the next Watson book to come out, I'm going to have to go and pick it up.

I would so love to meet Jude Watson. Pity that she doesn't do the book author tour thing. Even more of a pity that she has written any of her SW books for the 'old adult' market instead of for the 'young adult' market. It would be fantastic to have a full length Jedi Apprentice novel or a 'Generations' novel.

 

If by "next book" you mean Return of the Dark Side, it's out already. I read it Friday night. It's awesome!

Kinda, its an implied thing rather than stated outright. But its fairly obviously implied.

Obi is also a hottie. Qui very much a hottie Mace is a hottie. Han is a hottie. Quinlin Vos is a hottie.


Luke is not a hottie and neither is Anakin. They whine way too much to be hot.

TRADMIC made some kind of off the cuff remark earlier about having a crush on a fictional character while we were chatting. I then saw this thread and began to LOL in horrendous spasms of coughing/hilarity. I'm pretty sick, so I took some Robitussin and feel a bit better now. I still can't stop chuckling though.

I can imagine Val Kilmer playing Ferus.

So if we have Ferus, we need a Roan Lands. No pics of him on the covers and I'm too lazy to go back searching for a description of him in the previous books. And we'll need a Trevor. (wonder if Jude will one day write a series about Trevor as an adult? That would fit the pattern of the other books, since in LotJ Trevor has been placed in the young learner role to Ferus' adult mentor role.)


Just finished reading #6. Depressing, like the PT is depressing. On the one hand you hope that things will work out for Ferus and his friends, but we all know that the Empire thrives for another 20 years. Maybe Jude will be able to figure out a way that at least Ferus and Roan get a happily ever after.

I could see Clive (suave, city/night life loving, spy) being played by Hugh Grant. but I think Hugh is too much of a pretty boy who knows he's a pretty boy to play Roan.

How could Jude kill off Roan! Sob! And in right in front of Feris! Its horrible! Poor Feris, Poor Roan! And it so looks like Palpy is going to use this to try and turn Feris to the Dark Side. Vader is such a jerk. He is so off my Lifeday card list. And I think that Flame chick is just pretending to finance rebels, I think she's just luring them out, identifying them, and then letting the Imps know so they can come in and toast them. And Roan died! Sob!

 

Was Roan Feris's boyfriend?
