It does seem like this forum was a bit on the slow side for a while. Though there have been a number of new threads in the last week or so...

And, yeah, what is up with page 25 not really being there? Very annoying!

Little history here... this was the first thread started in this forum back when it was opened. At one point, it had over 10 times the number of posts as the next highest in this forum and was one of the longest threads on the entire message board.

 

There are threads in SA from before this forum was even created, so no, not the longest running thread in history.

Does anyone remember the good old days with the original one-worder? That thread was huge! Talk about a post generator.. That was the king. I tells ya! THE KING! It was probably the first thread to reach over 1,000 posts but then again maybe I'm senile in my old age and it may have had less. I just remember that it got closed and deleted due to hogging space.

Of course the board was UBB back then and we liked it we loved it!!..

I remember this thread, back on the old boards, around 1999, before my username got accidentally deleted. Amazing to see it still around.
