This why I hate doctors

I go because I am feeling bad and have a sore throat.....they take a swab to test whats wrong with my throat as its very red and inflated.......then take blood for a test also because I said I had recently been tired....now they think I could have diabetes or something

 

My grandad and niece have diabetes too.

 

I have a small chance of being diabetic I think

 

I wonder whether I am at times too. However J, unless you suffer from thirst a lot, and a lot of tiredness, and the colour of certain fluids are rather yellow, then there's little chance you have it...

 

Well isn't a good thing that they are checking just in case

I hate doctors too. Every time I go, they want to check my testicles... And they never warm their hands up....

What is the point in the cough and drop test? Surely feeling your testicles while you cough has nothing to do with illness

 

When you cough, your testicles fire up through your body to dislodge any food stuck in your throat. If you cough or sneeze really hard, they can come shooting out of your nose like golf balls on elastic, and knock out anyone in front of you - this is the origin of the custom of covering your mouth or facing away when you sneeze.

Does anyone else find the whole thing a bit ponderous though? It seems to go on for ages. I don't know whether having a female doctor is worse than a male one...

No. They just put a rubber glove and then... well, they don't care too much for your dignity. I mean, I could go down the docks and at least earn a bit of money out of it...

OJK does prefer young men - preferrably ones with tippexed out pupils. They may not be able to see what's going on, but they can sure hear the snap of the surgical gloves.
