FF:NZ Those annoying things family members do . . .

My brother was over this evening.
He found some of my Star Wars games lying around the computer.
"Ha!" he says, "Star Wars!"
Later he sees a magazine lying on the floor. "What's this," he said, "Star Wars trailer. Ha!"
He opens up my browser, and discovers the homepage is tfn. "Ha! Your homepage is 'theforce.net'. Trekker!!"

Does anyone else have to tolerate such things?

 

i don't think my family would care that much, and if they did, so be it

 

my family have lived with it for 6 years.
they seem to be handling it OK, I think.

 

Dad has some problem with me being here for three, sometimes four hours a day. But that's only because he wants to chat with his frends too.

 

My parents r cool about it they took me to the movies to c se and tpm which was cool cause that was cool and they get me sw stuff for my bday and xmas when they can get it they have a problem with me collecting transformers but i tell im tough i collect wat i like

My mum took me to see Star Wars three times when I was a kid.

IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!!

 

The thing about this particular brother, is he has been aware that I'm a Star Wars fan for the last ten years. He even got me those rare metallic TPM posters for my last birthday.

But still, whenever he finds anything which says Star Wars, he still says 'Ha! Star Wars!'. And it's not even the kind of friendly brother/sister hassling either . . .it's really ruthless! He once made up all these stupid arguments to try and convince me Star Wars was morally evil. Sometimes he'll refer to the holy trilogy as 'those stupid kids movies'

And he's not just like that with me, either. He just hates anyone liking anything he doesn't . . . whether it's a sports team, music or a movie. Apparently his wife has to wait until he's gone to play her cds . . . ah, family.

My family are pretty good when it comes to star wars stuff, I bought my dad the dvd for xmas cos he likes the movies too.
My Fiance' is fairly understanding but can get a bit miffed if I'm too long gaming!
