Yeah John, and you can buy it and then chose whenever you want to use the 48 hour period to watch it. We had probably 150 of them, some of which we got cheaper than the normal $5. I was sad to see them go. They cut out late fees. I think I have some I never watched. I wonder if they'd even play now...

This is a Richard Avedon photo of Nastassja Kinski. I remember seeing it when it first came out and was struck by the great use of "beauty and the beast".

I remember seeing this photo of Lee Harvey Oswald being shot by Jack Ruby in a Life Magazine scrapbook that my mom had. I was always struck by the look on the man's face standing to the left of Oswald. Very intense.

One of my favorites. The VE Day celebration where this soldier just grabbed a nurse in the street and kissed her. I love it.

Tom, I remember those old Theda Bara and other celebrity photos from a Life Magazine journal my parents had. Classic photos.

 

The thread about The JCC Goes Hollywood asks what actors = what JCers.... so in that vein I ask, what actors = what BBers?

Not to mention the housemates "tasks" take about 4 hours to read. How the hell are we supposed to vote when the updates would take that much time to read? Not many of us have that kind of patience.

I mean, the point of the game is to restrict certain members to a single forum, yet they are freely allowed to post in any forum using socks, and VIP socks at that.

Well, whatever. I would have liked people to enjoy the game, but if some people aren't that's fine. There's plenty of other places they can enjoy themselves out there on the JCC. Right?

 

I PM'ed malkie and clarified that for him. He thought the whole point of BB was that we're restricted in here, and posting in the JCC was kind of silly conceptually.

It's interesting to see how many people say it's boring in here. Granted there are only 8 of us, and we aren't always on at the same time. Plus, we don't want to spam the place, that's what Ornen tried

 

Funny. From the threads I read, I think this place is far from boring.

I don't think it's boring in here. And yeah, if we were allowed to post anywhere, well, hell, I'd be posting about.

I think sometimes I can get a bit slow, but for a forum of 9 users (cb included), I think that's to be expected, no?
