Thoughts on bespin Darth Vader, this figure is a must have! ! !

Theres a unleashed version of Vader coming out? Wow I didn't know that, anyways this figure is awesome and like I said this figure is must-have!!!!!!!

 

but why did they give him red eyes?

 

Red eyes you say?, I thought his eyes were purple, but Would prefer if they made his eyes black, because his red or purple eyes just don't match, anyways he's still a great figure and I don't care if he has green or orange eyes.

 

But why? Weren't his eyes black in the movie? Why screw that up?

 

Its Hasbro what do you expect, Hasbro messes a lot of figures, example: Palpatine (chicken pops), Mace Windu (his face), Clone trooper (poorly painted), I could go on and on. You are right the black eyes would have only made Vader look better, but still his red eyes don't affect me all that much. Though deep down inside I really wish his eyes were black, Vader rules!!!!!!

 

I guess I'll have to whip out the black paint.

 

I'am very surprized that this figure is a pegwarmer at wal-mart, a figure this great should be rare like Dooku.

 

Don't be fooled the upper body is a Resculpt of the 25th anniversary version down to the ANH inner cape over the Armour.

Yep, the figure is great, the realism just blows your mind, this is one though's figures you must buy two of.

 

I like this figure as well.

But I have to bash Hasbro for leaving out the details.

Where is Darth Vader`s shoulder cut?

They left it out.


Also I don`t like his right arm ´cause it´s movement is very limited.
His neck seems to be a bit too thick,

Yo, BILLY DEE, I totally agree, there are some weak points to this figure, Hasbro is a bit lazy when comes to details,

By the way head over to your local K-MART, they are having a sell on figures today and monday, they're selling them for $3.49.

 

I saw a Bespin Luke and Vader. I thought about getting them but I was going to get the UCS Lego Yoda. I got the Yoda. Im not into action figures anymore. Lego is a whole new world...

 

Trust me, this Vader figure will bring you back into the figure world.

 

i like to open my figures and only evr display a few but this is by far the best figure to display

Sadly, there are no Bespin Vader in my local area.

 

GOOD, lord wolfe my young apprentice, everything is going as planned, we SITH will destroy the light side forever. ha ha ha ha.

 

I bought a second Vader to open last night, I like the figure, but I had trouble getting him to stand. And to make him do his slashing attack, you have to take the cape off. I think it's good for display only.

 

The display of the figure is awesome, I mean it really does look like Vader, I just more figures could achieve the realism that bespin Vader has.

 

I agree the display is awesome. I really like the way his cape is flowing like he is in the wind. I already printed out a Bespin background for him. Now I just have to find a Bespin Luke to open to complete the display.

 

Yeah I never notice that about the cape, it does look like its flowing in wind, This figure is just superior to all the others.

 

Just opened my Vader & Luke today "WICKED"
the only real whinge is the weird right arm on Vader.
The cape stays own well and the Saber is held nicely.
He really looks like he's fighting the wind.

 

yo, i have to agree with that royalguard fella, the 25th anniversary version is a killer! check out the cape! the bespin version is too locked in to that one particular event. plus you get a spiffy lookin obi wan with the 25th anniv. version!

When the package says "hold left hand over lightsaber....weapon is Force attracted to Vader's hand" it makes you think you can hold it high above the saber. Unfortunately, you have to make him almost touch it so that it will be picked up with the magnet.

 

Yeah, but if the magnet hand was so strong, Vader might end up flying towards your refrigerator and stick to it. That would be kind of eerie.
