Fanclub Thrawn Fans Unite !!!!! (v 2.0)

She was only one year younger than Luke/Leia/Ezra as I recall. So, now that season 3 is beginning, that makes her same age as those characters were in Season 2.

 

If they had included Mara Jade, here's how I imagine things would go:

Thrawn "suggests" to the Emperor and Darth Vader that the Inquisitors are too obviously Imperial, that they need someone who can use the Force, but won't alert the Rebels prematurely.

Palpatine laughs, agrees to the use of one of the Emperor's Hands.

During a battle, Ezra and co. rescue a "Rebel," not knowing that it's an Emperor's Hand, and that Thrawn deliberately allowed them to escape, so she could infiltrate the crew.

Unlike the new canon Inquisitors, who wear uniforms, the Emperor's Hands (like their Legends counterparts), would wear whatever they need to wear to accomplish their missions.

Oh I'm surprised some people remember me! I got a trophy on the forum "11 years of membership", haha, I feel old now.

Actually I DID draw Thrawn with a suit and a tie (an old mix of sketches of Thrawn I did, but well). here:


EDIT: and about romances, I don't want and I don't like seeing him in a romance. I HOPE that there will NOT be ANY romance about Thrawn in the future book, to me it would just sound like a fanfiction. I really don't like fanfictions with Mary-Sues who romance Thrawn and blablabla. I mean, Thrawn belongs to his fans, they can imagine what they want in fanfictions, but in the official books/series I don't want to see him with anyone. No woman an no man deserves him anyway. He has a heart, yes, but I prefer imagining him lonely and focused on his work, not with some Mary-Sue (or anyone), berk. Like Sherlock Holmes, he's better alone. Or with a close "friend" like Watson/Pellaeon.

Maris was already dangerously close to a romance, I'm glad it did not end up like this.

The original Thrawn trilogy books are being reprinted in September.

 

New covers though.

 

It would be great if the reprinted book get more sales than disneys new one.
At least there is some hope that other ledgends book will be also reprinted.

 

I'm glad that never came out, I fear Golden would have ruined Jaina too.
I think most have to many hopes in that, basically everything after NJO just became worse.

Its just I don't see how this trilogy could have become great.

But I admit that after Jacen death I tend to dislike the books that followed generaly, so I'm unfair about it.

True, but it went downhill from there, although Tatooine Ghost was good as well (coincidentally, wasn't it written before the Dark Nest Trilogy?)

New covers for the Thrawn trilogy, really? the brasilian ones are awesome, did you see them? especially the Last Command:

 

They've had the legends banner and terrible cover fonts for a while.
But yes, we're supposed to get actual new cover art with this edition.

 

Let's hope it's artistically done.

 

I don't really like the zoom on the face of Thrawn on the cover for the new book, I would prefer the same illustration but this version (he looks almost kind on it, I like it)
