Not sure if this is the right forum for this, so apologies in advance.

I've not read any EU stuff ever, but I have heard of the Thrawn Trilogy which everyone seems quite keen on. If someone who has read them could answer the following please?

    1) What is the timescale? I believe it's just after ROTJ?

    2) Does the conclusion leave one in a position where, having not read any of the new canon material so only with the film for reference, one could conceivably get from there to the start of the Force Awakens?

yeah this is the Force Awakens thread. better off trying to post under books, comics, tv eu thread. or just posting a question on an established thread. their is also a thread for general questions about this stuff. If your new, welcome to the boards:)

The Thrawn Trilogy couldn't be read as a lead-in to TFA, and this isn't the right forum for more discussion about those books beyond that point anyway. You would want the Lit forum for more discussion on that and other EU / Legends novels. Locking.
