^In fact, I'm starting to sense a conspiracy in the EU right now to put Nuru Karawatchhisname into every dang Clone Wars book/comic/etc that's coming out soon. Watch your back, Ahsoka.

(I'd also warn Thrawn to watch his back, seeing is Nuru's on the straight trail to overthrow him as everyone's favorite Chiss, but Thrawn's not very good at watching his back.)

Have you considered the possibility that he did offer them the chance but they refused? Maybe they're busy working on other novels or they dislike the direction the show is going in.

I agree with EVERYTHING here. Lucas is God, so we all need to pray!!! But seriously, Luceno already wrote the final chapter of The Clone Wars. I wish they'd showcase that story! I need G-canon closure to the Sifo-Dyas mystery. And I want to see Grievous pwn Palpatine. Can they overwrite the awful Clone Wars version? *cringe*

 

If TCW is doing its own version of Labyrinth of Evil, I wouldn't mind having Luceno write the screenplays of those episodes.

Thrawn is the best character in the EU, so of course they should use him.

 

Eh, unless TCW has a really worthwhile, canon-friendly use for Thrawn, I'd rather his character be handled only by the EU.

Captain Pellaeon, however, I think the TCW crew could handle. I'd love for him to make an appearance.

 

I looked up Nah Nuru Kawa and couldn't find it anywhere.

By the way I answer no. No need for Thrawn. I'm down for future Imperial officers and several future Rebel leaders but Thrawn shouldn't be shoehorned in some way.

I think it would be nice to have like a flashback or something to Cover the whole Outbound Flight storyline and include Thrawn in it.

 

Please, don't let them ruin what they don't understand anymore. It's one thing to be enthusiastic, but they just pursue characters for their name and ignore the work of people who have previously handled them.

They have the right because GL gives them the right, but changing one of the staples of our EU is a bit too far in my opinion.

Don't give them ideas like this!

 

Everyone is entitled to give any ideas they want-

but still agreed that messing up Thrawn is bad bad idea - no Thrawn to TCW- but i want to see that Chiss-bartender from Jedi Outcast

 

Forget the EU, and just put him in, for Pete's sake. It'll be a good way of celebrating his popularity. The GLU and the EU are separate universes anyway. It's better than never seeing him on screen.
