I've been lurking more often than anything else lately, but I really miss keeping up-to-date with my gals on the "Hotties of LOTR" thread.

 

Yeah, I can relate to that, Bithy. I've been mostly lurking lately too, just because most threads didn't seem that interesting.

Though, I'll probably either lurk over there and find a thread I wish I could be posting in or else just plain get bored of being stuck here sooner or later.

 

I agree... discussions on the JC have become very diluted lately.

 

i would agree with that too, that's one of the reasons i signed up for this crazy experiment.

 

I'll 4th that statement. I left for an 8 month absence between Sep. and May. (If you haven't seen me around before, that's probably why.) I lurked a lot during that time... and when I finally decided to post again, I discovered that I really didn't feel like posting much in the JCC anymore. Nothing interested me.

Currently I only post in the Lightsiders or Darksiders threads and greet the Newbies in the Welcome New Users forum.

Yeah, I haven't posted in Lit much lately for the same reason, too dull. Mostly just n00bies having boring and/or stupid conversations. Lurk a lot though. I'm getting to old to hang with all those younglings.

 

Don't worry Bithy, we can still have out Hotties of LotR! Can you start a new topic? Maybe broaden it a little though to give us more scope to post pictures.

Well, I always try to liven up the YJCC a bit with some humour threads (check my bio), whether they're about Britney Spears or Billy Bob Thornton or Star Wars Memories.

EDIT: But I'll miss my "Mutant Sick Monster Bastard Freak" thread. I got a couple of replies from film studios that were worth posting.

I don't really know what I miss. I usually post in what I feel like at the time.

See, this is why you read the packaging on DVD's because merchants are unscrupulous bastards. We should, however, be getting the Widescreen, yes you guessed it, right in time for Christmas.

 

Apparently it was because it was aimed at kids, and they'd *apparently* appreciate a Pan'n'scan version more.

Of course, it's not like they cut most of the adult market out by doing so. Noo...

this thread. i definitely share that fascination with alleys.

in fact, when i walk home i usually try to walk through alleys as many as possible.

 

I am extremely tempted to post my opinion about the article TF.N has up right now about Lucas not allowing Speilberg to direct a SW movie.
