Harps, you can 'keep learning" while you practice a specific faith. For example, though I'm a follower of Jesus, I'm always reading the literature of other religions, searching for truth. Working my way through the Bhagavad Gita right now, for the second time.

That said, I'm a fairly agnostic Christian, who has universalist tendencies, so I can be considered pretty far from the norm in that regard, I suppose. I was really drawn toward Buddhism/Jainism for a while, but now if i had to chose something different it'd almost certainly be animism.

Emus are the things you turn into steaks, Dafty.
I don't think EMOs taste that good...

    I see.

    So what is an EMO?

    What is a Goth?

Girl. Really. You may have been inducted into the Hot Topic cult of Germany, but you are by no means goth. What are your top 5 Bauhaus songs? The Cure? Joy Division? Xymox? Ministry? Skinny Puppy? SoM? Legendary Pink Dots? And if you google this crap, shame on you.

I can answer that for you Daft.

    SLG and Lanna are Goths...

Al Gore is an emo. He is so emotional, always crying about everything that he has to make up something ir order to make himself feel good.

    Does Satanism deal with necromancy?

I made a kick-ass night elf necromancer in Oblivion. He could summon wraiths, liches, headless zombies and skeletons. He could also trap souls in gems and use them to enchant items. [face_devil] Good times.

Tell you what, SLG, I hate Bauhaus. I love Peter Murphy.
I make an exception for 'In the flat field'.

I like Joy Division, but am no real fan. Have you seen 'Control'? Loved that film.

Xymox? Ministry? Skinny Puppy? SoM? Legendary Pink Dots? Keep it.
Same for Depeche Mode, The Mission, Sisters of Mercy.
I saw the latter live once and was not impressed.
The Cure also fails to impress me. They have a couple of good songs, but then so has Depeche Mode.
I am a failure where old school goth music is concerend.:p

Instead, I'll go with NIN, Project Pitchfork, Deine Lakeien, Goethes Erben and some local stuff.

Truth be told, I am glad you didn't start with Wumpcsut et al. *phew*

Grr argh! Kids invasion in the shop... I'll be back.
EDIT: Really, one of thsoe days, I'll get me a machine gun and take some terminal action. You should not let two bus-loads of kids run amok in one shop.[face_plain]

Actually, I forgot what I was saying just now.
Maybe Einstürtzende Neubauten, if I am in need of complicated, highbrow music. I think I wanted to connect that to Bauhaus.[face_thinking]
