"Three or four years"

    We'd love to see a darker side of Star Wars - let's just hope the script steers clear of tedious politico gabbing. But don't get too excited yet ? McCallum also admitted that the whole project is now on hold for another three or four years while the crew finds a way to film this ambitious project without breaking the bank.

    "We have 50 hours of third-draft scripts, but the problem we have is there is a lot of digital animation; we don't have the technology yet to be able to do them at a price that is safe for television. Since we would be financing them, it would be suicide for us to do this [now]. So we are going to wait three or four years."

    I have a big concern here. GL is not getting any younger. I hope he details out as much as humanly possible and puts it all in good hands before he passes on.
