Any and all events for me and toy hunting is hereby seriously postponed or possibly canceled.
The car died...I mean really finally died.
The entire electrical system melted down yesterday.

    First Guess Estimates:

The entire A/C Condenser and all of its electrics needs to be replaced
The computer might have been completely wiped out
    The fuse box melted
Several if not all wires have melted
The Alternator has been damaged to an extant along with the starter and they would have to take those pieces off and test them.
The A/C unit is currently "on" its been "running" for 3 days.
The battery was sucked dry sometime last night

The damage has been there for awhile but apparently the heat and the hard driving over the weekend finally killed it.
At least she got me home one last time.:_|

We'll all pitch in i'm sure to help get you to events... we can't be without our favourite Tusken!

It certainly sounds like it died the hero's death with all the grand circumstance it deserved though. Tank was a good car and a good friend, it will be missed.

R.I.P. Thundertank... she was a real trooper on many expeditions. Yes, her time is passed but the memories live on.

(and, not to be unkind, but... Wingy, may I suggest a replacement, rather than a resurrection?)

I was acutally wondering what the cost differences would be in repairing Thundertank VS Tan Corolla...
But, if you can afford it it's probably best to get something a lot newer.

The cool thing about Tan Corolla is that if you smush both words together Tancarolla it sounds like TANK-A-ROLLA and kind of like an homage to thunder-tank :)

    Congrats! (I think)
You should probably edit the title to this thread now though...

    Scotty,
Put her out of her misery, or at least put you out of yours... Time for a new ride
