From Starwars.com: On September 14, 2004, Lucasfilm and Warner Bros. Home Video will make available THX 1138: The George Lucas Director's Cut in a two-disc DVD set. But before that, starting September 10, the film will screen theatrically in select cities. To be exact, only 21 cities. But good news, there is one Maryland city on the list. The AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring will be screening the movie, starting this Friday, the 10th. Also, they are screening it digitally! Friday's times are 5:15pm, 7:20pm, and 9:25pm. You can check the site for times on other days. Tickets are onsale now. You can check the official THX 1138 site for additional information on the film itself and other cities screening it.
There will also be a poster giveaway at the screenings. There are limited quantities so I imagine you have to go to the earliest screening for a chance to get one. Check starwars.com for information on the poster giveaway.
