Okay today in the Lucasfilm forum, I heard the news that GL's film THX 1138 is going to be put on DVD as a Special Edition and that it will hit stores about the same time as the Star Wars DVDs. I was wondering if anyone has seen this film. If they have is it any good? If it is a good film I would like to get it. I have asked several people and it seems like no one has ever seen the film. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks Seldon
Seen it, own it on VHS. IMO, this was waaay better news to me than the SE on DVD. This was Lucas' first big film, back when he was in his prime. THX is not for everyone, it's very character driven and a sort of social commentary. It's not as Saturday afternoon as SW. But rent it, maybe you'll like it.
