Lisa: I go to a farm uni. There are no "multiple lectures" I go to the ones I have to and that's it. :p

The tap dancing sheep are great, but then again, the ones playing the piano are quite entertaining too. :D

There'll be a charity screening on May 12. Still, we do get to see it a lot earlier than the Yanks. :D

So has anyone settled on one theater for us Aucklanders, or are we not doing a group thing for this one? I'm down for where ever.

You might want to keep an eye on the SWNZ website. They're going to be posting a list of people who are getting together in varoius locations - assuming anyone emails them. :)

I'm not sure if that's going to be in the area for paid-up members only or on the freely viewable area.

    One.

You going to be at Hoyts when it opens?

We're moving further and further back from the front of the line :(
We still have the first general release screenings in the world :)

jp: I heard they have a charity screening on May 12 on ET, the one with the 3-minute SW footage.

Speaking of ET, last night I was watching Prime and the ad comes up, saying "tonight"'s ET will cover some SW, so I taped it but there's nothing!

Buzz: If we are indeed organizing a group in Auckland, will they post it on the first page of SWNZ? I think I found some other FanForce NZ site but I forgot how to get there.

The advertising of group cinema trips was in an email I got from the official Unofficial SWNZ website, so the details (if any) will be posted there: http://www.star-wars.co.nz

That's IF anyone bothers to email them of course.

Most of the figures have been released and are available at the Warehouse, Toyworld and K-Mart. Lightsabers, the Reek and the Jedi Starfighter are also about (and perhaps some things I'm forgetting).

I think I'll come along on Thursday morning. Might do a run into South City Warehouse at the same time :D

Buzz: Do I have to be a member to get the emails? I looked through the site and found nothing about subscribing to FFNZ news or such.

    damo: IF there are more Auckland people willing to go. :) I'm not sure mum would let me camp out for a movie with some random guy I met on the net. 8-}

So....how about it, Kitt? :D Come on, you're the only other girl! :) I had to ask you first.

One more thing Buzz. Who do I email?

cool. so far we have about 26. :)
The Warehouse run sounds like a plan, too... although, theyre closed until lunchtime, right?

    26? That's great!

And The Warehouse probably won't be open until 1pm :( Ah well.

What time does Hoyts open on Thursday? For LOTR they opened a little earlier, although I expect they don't anticipate the same kind of numbers (and I doubt there will be, given the lack of hype).

Camping out is completely and utterly unnecessary in this country.

But if you wanna do it for fun or cause americans do it, well, be my guest.
