    Well, unless someone outbids me...do and I'll space you out the window I swear to Yoda! We should have a TIE helmet. Of course the question is, which one of us gets the 1st helmet (padawan92 or myself)

    you think the Summit Mall foodcourt would mind a lightsaber duel? :D

    Update!
    [image=http://homepage.mac.com/anrev/.Pictures/TiePilot/helmet04.jpg]

    I went and bought a really fine detail brush to paint the mouth on by hand. Then I screwed in the grebilies. The ear studs are my non-canon studs. But they are reversible to look canon when needed.

    UPDATE #2
    I got paid today so I went and bought hoses.
    [image=http://homepage.mac.com/anrev/.Pictures/TiePilot/helmet05.jpg]
    And I reinstalled the lenses. I'll use these till Scifilensguy.com gets some more stock in. The hoses are too long but I'll wait to fix that till the box is complete. I'll finish the paint job later.

    I won the e-bay helmet, so once I get the payment arrangments setup...1 down, 1 to go!

    ((dances around))
    "bells that ring...has bling bling...that's on e-bay!!!"

    I've sent an e-mail to the person asking which method of payment works best in their situation. Apparently, not everyone can accept credit card payment (via paypal) so I want to find out what works the best in this situation.

    The helmet is mine!
    ((Em bites finger))
    ...where is Sean Astin when you need him :D

    Usually on Ebay in the payment instruction section, they will have a list of what they accept. If they accept Paypal but not credit cards on Paypal, they will specifically state so. If it's not stated and the Paypal logo is there, then it's safe to assume that it's okay.
    But it never hurts to ask. ;)

    Yeah, I found that out, much to my chagrin...

    All in all, though, everything has gone pretty well with E-Bay. I've bought some pretty nice stuff, and quite a bit of prop material for various costumes.

    Beltayn...sounds good (in response to your PM)

    I mailed a money order to the guy with my TIE helmet...should be just a couple days and we'll be well on the way towards getting our TIE costumes started.

    Em said she will take the one from Beltayn (as discussed over PM) and I'll keep the e-bay auction one.

    After trying Bret's on (at the costuming session) I am really looking forward to getting my own, all tricked out to match Bret's. If last night's jedi costuming was an indication...building TIE helmets is gonna be like an episode of "Monster Garage" :D

    Since this seems to kinda be the 501st thread, I'll re-post what I posted in the other costume thread:

    I just got an e-mail stating that my lightsaber is ready and he will ship it out tomorrow! :D

    If you want to see it go to Random Sabers and click on Juno. There will be a difference, however, in that the buttons and D-ring will be brass instead of silver. And later I'll wrap the grip with leather.

    When I get it, then I'll get my pics for the 501st done. :D
    One question guys...when we take the pics, can we change the blade color to purple on the computer?

    And thanks for putting the pic up. I don't know how to do that.
