I'll be there between 5 & 6 I think.
Luke didn't even change clothes in ANH until the end (unless he was nekkid under the flight suit).
I don't think it likely that Luke wore his Tatooine garb under the flight suit, though.
From the little I read in the X-wing series, I don't think that Corran wore much under his. But maybe that was just Corran.
Ditto on Solo.
In ANH true enough.
But in the Han Solo books, it does mention him sending his clothes to the equivalent of the dry cleaner. So he does usually have some hygiene-sense.
Thanks Kim. Because of you, during differential equations and Spanish today I'll be thinking about exactly how little is underneath those flight suits.
The flight suit issue, well, considering I've seen U.S. pilots wear t-shirts and shorts under thier flight suits, I guess I could let that one slide
I never read the Han Solo novels- I remember buying 'Han Solo at Stars End' a looong time ago (I think it was either a double or trilogy book), but didn't get around to it.
However, one question that's been nagging at me...
How did Han & Luke wear their clothes (and more importantly, their boots), under the stormtrooper armor in ANH?
I'll be there.
I'm going to assume that everyone who is going to Zahn will want their JKOC T-shirts...if you want them sooner, PM me and we can arrange something
I'm trying to figure out if the Akron/Canton contingent will need one or two cars.
Would you please add your name to the list below so that I know if we'll have to recruit another driver?
Yes Krash, that will be fine. You got my check right?
Thanks Jade, but I my dad's taking me.
David: Excellent. Thanks for letting me know.
Okay, I've gathered that some of you are meeting somewhere, at some time, to eat beforehand. Do we have an exact time and place so I can ask Liz if she wants to go, and also to get driving directions. Because if we don't eat with you guys, it's definitely back to Campus Dining Services for us.

If Oberlin food is like Kent State...
Just go to Superpages.com and enter in either Jospeh-Beth Booksellers...or Your's Truely. And follow the directions!
The Parma contingent (Emily and myself) are going to be arriving at Your's Truely around 5pm...whenever the guys from 501st, the rest of JKOC...including the Akron group arrives (who knows?) we'll go from there.
February 9th @ 7:00 PM Joseph Beth Booksellers
Commander-DWH (and friend?)
and a squad from Ohio Garrison
did I miss anyone?
Me + a friend from work...hopefully.
I will rendezvous with the rest of the fleet from Dagobah, err, I mean, JCU, depending on how much of the week's homework I can accomplish over the weekend.
Have to tell Susan (Joseph Beth) that this event is getting all kinds of publicity for their store.
Speaking of publicity...those of you with digital cameras, if you can send me (or better yet Brian) group pictures with Zahn. He can send me a link...which I'll post on Fanforce news. Part of the reason I haven't written a story about the Zahn event, is because I wanted to have a picture of us with Zahn to include.
Akron contingent: There will be a drug-rep lunch at my office. Last week when we had one, we had food-galore left over. So if that is the case this week, I'll likely just put that out for us to warm up tomorrow night. If not, then I'll order pizza to be there for 5. Is that okay with you all?
Jedi robes- check!
digital camera- check!
car keys + driver- check!
*hops around like a little kid* w00t! I'm so freaking excited that I don't even CARE that I'm awake earlier than 8:00!! I think I'm going to drive my lab prof crazy today.
Hooay, I will be able to attend. I will be riding with Jade-Walker.
Dumb question, but, should I bring any money, if so how much?
should I bring any money, if so how much?
Good to hear your gonna make it...looking forward to meeting you (finally). If you need a copy of the book...expect to pay around $20-25 for a hardcover.
I don't know about you "Akron contingent" but I plan on getting something to eat @ "Your's Truely"...so if you're hungry bring a couple bucks for food "Great Chewie...always thinking with your stomach"
Hardcover "Heir to the Empire"...check
JKOC t-shirts for everyone who ordered/will be there...check
camera...check (let's try and be somewhat orderly about that...as opposed to the poor woman we abused at LOTR)
EDIT: This was on the Ohio Garrison boards...thought everyone would get a kick outta this:
I was looking at the Jedi Knights of Cleveland post board a little bit ago...
There's 16 fracking Jedi showing up to this Cleveland event ....
What's a lonely Sith to do.....
Fear the wrath of Gangsta Vader.
And I'm in the class that will never end...
Less than 10 minutes to go... hope we get out in time, or else I'll go crazy.
You may just be getting a suprise visit from your beloved CR.
