Tim Zahn tells humourous stories?

I am just re-reading The Thrawn Trilogy, and found a funny typing error. At the back of each book it gives a short biography on Zahn. On books two and three, it says:

Timothy Zahn is one of science fiction's most popular voices, known for his ability to tell very human stories against a well-researched background of future science and technology. (etc.)

However, on book one, there's a typing error, and it says:

Timothy Zahn is one of science fiction's most popular voices, known for his ability to tell very HUMOROUS stories against a well-researched background of future science and technology. (etc.)

yeah right, since when were zahn's books funny? they're the most serious books of the EU.

is this error common in most copies of Heir to the Empire, or did they catch it after the first few printings?

they're never funny in TTT. they're only ever: 'sarcastic', 'sardonic', 'wry', and 'dry' (eg. "said Karrde dryly")

 

Weren't both TTT and HoT one big joke?

And to answer the original question, on my copy, its also says humorous...hehehe. I never noticed that before.
