Yikes, Jeff, that sounds scary! Best of luck and good vibes for you and your family.
Passing good vibes your way, brother!
must have helped!
He is out of surgery, it went well. They will keep an eye out for infection and I should have an update tomorrow.
I'm glad his Surgery went well, we will keep him and your family in our thoughts.
What a Relief Jeff! That sounds like a complicated ordeal for your Dad but I'm glad to hear he got thru it.
Thanks guys. They will keep him sedated foe the next day or so due to pain.
My sister told me that this wont help the damage that has already been done from the diabetes, kidney damage or improve the overall pain level and quality of life. But if it keeps him from being a paraplegic, its worth it. We kind of have to look at his health in the grand scheme with his illnesses.
Glad to hear it Jeff!!!
I'm glad to hear that it went well, Jeff. That's good news.
We need some good thoughts sent out for Shane's family. They have gotten a lot of bad news lately. His Grandpa is in congestive heart failure and has to be placed in an assisted living home. And his uncle was recently diagnosed with MS.
I am so sorry to hear that=( I am sending good vibes and happy thoughts!
Our supportive thoughts are with you and Shane. Let us know if you need anything.
Sorry to hear that guys! Hang in there!
Let us know if you need anything Courtney.
wasn't sure if I was gong to post anything yet or not but here we go. Dad left the hospital today and will not be continuing his dialysis treatments. He has a staff infection in his blood and pneumonia. He cant walk or feel his hands or legs. The doctors give him 4-12 days from his last treatment which was yesterday. He met with a psychiatrist, social worker and hospis today. The plan from here on is to make him as comfortable as possible.
I will post updates when there is something to update.
I'm so sorry Jeff
Sorry to hear that Jeff. Hang in there man!
Sorry, Jeff. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
I'm so sorry, Jeff. If you need anything, let me know.
<super duper hugs> I am so sorry to hear that sweetie
Thanks everyone, dh has a tough road ahead of him to haul. Just dropped him off at the airport, he should be leaving shortly.
Please send your strength his way as his family will need some too. Thanks so much for caring.
Of course, Kim. And hugs to you, too. Things like this are not easy for anyone.
Jeff, when you read this, know that we're all with you in spirit.
Wow. That really sucks. My heart goes out to you, Jeff and Kim. This is a difficult time and we are all here with you. Having a terminally ill family member is truly heartbreaking. We're happy to do whatever we can to help.
My heart goes out to you and your family, Jeff.
