rachel i am sorry that really sucks. lung things are nothing to mess with. I am glad you are feeling better. *hugs*
I'm asking for some happy thoughts to be sent to my nephew, Ben! He is 2 years old and in recovery after having surgery on his Meckel's diverticulum. He went into the hospital with vomiting and pain yesterday, and after slicing in there, they found the problem. The sac had to be removed, but also some dead colon. A full recovery is the plan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meckel's_Diverticulum My sister is very tired, but optimistic and happy. Ben woke up peeved about the tubes and has been trying to rip them out, which we all think is a great sign. I'm thinking some hugs and happy thoughts will help make this a smooth recovery. He likes dancing, talking, trampolines, and defending his turf. Cosmic hugs commence!
Thanks for the hugs, you guys!! Ben is doing great. He did his, ehem, business today, which is a what the docs were waiting for. And as his first solid-food meal, he asked for a milk shake and tater tots. Good choice, bud.

Theres a huge wildfire burning in Santa Barbara California right now...lets pray the wind dies down a bit.
Mom fell, and I'm waiting for Dad to call from urgent care with an update on her stitches... Think positive please
3 "square box" stitches, sliced clear through the skin and nicked the tendon. So, on top of 10 kids, I have 2 grown up kids to deal with today.
hey kids...if you could please send some good vibes this way. I am going to the doctor around lunch time, but i am not fairing well today. I am sitting here trying not to be dizzy and trying not to cry because well i am a little freaked out. so yeah...talk about a bad monday. so i am sorry i sound like a big baby...just a little freaked out at the moment...and well it is better to whine here then to co-workers...they all think i am just down about the Titans...which is fine, the room is spinning and i am trying to hold out until the doctor. blah thanks..again my apologies for the whining..i just need some prayer or support or well to feel better would actually be the best right now.
