Time Zones?

I live in the east standand time zone, and I have been to boards with added functions that can alter the recorded times for you. I was wondering if there is any such function here.

Not possible, unfortunately. There's just one time possible, and that's board time. At least it's correct now.

 

I'm definitely with KW on this. The board time used to be 10-15 minutes fast until we all got confused using it...

 

While there are many boards out there that will allow for the boards to output the time and dates so that they match with you local time zone, it isn't a feature that comes equipped with IGNBoards, and I don't forsee it being something that will be added in the future.

 

When it comes to programming in new features, we're limited. Like others have said, the one common thing we have is board time.

it was out of time for at least a year.....maybe longer

 

It's THREE hours behind me right now.

 

I don't mind the boards being PST, the only thing that bothers me is the pm, am thing.

That annoys me...

 

I actually think having it set at one time is handy. If people say "I'll be back on at 4PM board time", we all know what that is and how it relates to our own time zone. Whereas if it changes then everyone has to figure what that person's time zone is to their own.

 

i live on the west coast and think board time is cool!
