    So Kevin,

Do your Muppet Penguins sing Lullabye of Broadway?

Didn't get to meet Jim Lee- I actaully almost stepped on him!

Kevin had been signing for a while and they were pushing us thru the line pretty quick. I pretty much got to tell him who to sign my action figure to, tell him I dug his movies, and hand him an MSCA comic. Then I got in an argument with one of the security folks when I stopped at the exit to turn around and take a pic of Micah who was in line behind me as she got her DVD signed.

Did get to talk to Berni Wrightson some, and Bruce Timm and his fiance' Misty Lee. Talked to Steve and Jaynelle Rude a bit, and got to run into my old buddy Mike Norton at one of his booth/signing appearances. It's so crazy there that it's really hard to talk to anyone, unless you just get lucky and they're not busy or have anyone at their table.

I really had to fight my dislike of crowds. I don't think I could have handled C3!

BTW I picked up a framed picture of the Muppets from Walmart. I think I'll hang it in the living room once I move the Hellboy pic.

It is not exactly a picture of the original cast as Joe has drawn my attention to the King Prawn at the bottom next to Animal. I'll bring it to Drivein night this Saturday, if I remember.

I picked it up on clearance at the Millington Walmart.

    =D=

    Cool.

    Back on topic now:

I HOPE to have something cool with Muley done before TimmyCon! Would be nice! We'll have to see, though.

Life, death, work, no work, the usual!

I do know I need to get the promo art done.

We've got plenty of open space for setting up tables and all, and there will be a great space in the back for showing movies, and an office we can use for changing costumes/hospitality.

I know gaming has been mentioned, too.

I haven't talked to Libby and Crissy to see what they have planned for their part of kidz day, but I have sent out the info to Mascot Central and JabberBlabber. The FedEx Plane Pull is the same day so I don't know if they will all be busy out there or not.

What else needs to be worked on?

We need to start a preliminary list of those who will need table space. (And how many tables each will require.)

Also, those who plan to host gaming need to go ahead and let us know what game and how many tables they plan on having.

Should anyone interested just PM you Tim or should we vote someone to be responsible for that part of TimmyCon?

We need someone who has seen the layout to estimate the number of table spaces we have (6' x 6' or 8' x 8'), then subtract the number of tables we will reserve for SMT members, so we can start notifying other dealers - I can think of four people right now who might be interested.

And, if we can find someone who can donate/loan tables for that day, we can put an ad in the Comics Buyers Guide (for free) advertising the con. But we need to put in the $$$ that a table costs and they don't have room for "Table space free, but you must bring your own table" and I don't think they'll understand "BYOT".

    I like it!

I'll try and work up a layout of the place and figure out the # of tables that can work.

I expect this to be fun times. Fun times.

    Still need a vice-Muley, though, to suit-up when I can't.

Talked to Greg this weekend and we'll have a couple rolling walls from the MSCA art show earlier that month. May display some art on them. There's also some room along the top of the walls near the ceiling that could be good to hang some bigger art on.
