Memph, TN TIMMYCON!

The family and I plan on being there (if it is ok with SMT)to sell and hopefully to buy. I am hoping that I will have my Stormtrooper armour ready by then and will wear it part of the time. Also hope to have the 12" scale X-Wing done enough to bring as a backdrop.This Con is for comic and Star Wars only or will any toys do.

 

I don't have a table, but will need table space.

Can I use some of yours, Tim?

 

You can use my camp table, Rhonda. I'll also have another camp table I can borrow from my sister if you need more room than that.

 

I may have an extra table or two in the in the dressing room we can share.

Any and all toys and comics are welcome!

I'll measure tonight and post how many spaces will be available.

 

Looks like we can do 10-12 tables easily, with room for another 2-4 if needed. Should still give us some good traffic flow space.

 

Pretty much any toy line is fine with me. As long as it isn't Star Trek....

Glad you liked it, Lin. I had a good time writing bios for you and me. Yours was easy- You have so damned many credits and accomplishments that I probably could've written another paragraph. I made my own self-deprecating. Hey, it added some length to it!

I'm hoping my buddy Dave will be able to make it in for TC1. We'll have some 'Bushi Tales' promos to hand out, and maybe some stuffs to sell. Still hoping the MSCA comic is printed by then...

 

No word from the celebs, yet. Maybe I should go on and throw in the Hot Apple Pie. (I still can pull the milkshake card.)

Anyone have any ideas on how to promote TC1? We need cheap and effective. But most of all, we need cheap.

Did I mention that it needed to be cheap?

 

You could always invite the boys (and girls) from the Southern Outpost.

As always, there's a standing invitation to the 501st. I don't know if they'll want to worry with TimmyCon, though. We won't have much room for marching, but the stormies can come all the same!

 

Would love to see some Imperials around. Plenty of room to park a Star Destroyer or troop transport out back! They are more than welcome to come out to Kidz Day the following weekend as well!

Tim, what if we Super-Size the meal, or throw in a happy meal toy or two..?

I'm looking at getting some postcards done soon. I'll put them out at the local comic and hobby shops, along with a few posters. They'll all be at the haunt, too. We should have a good crowd come thru before TC1.

Having it posted on our site, the haunt's site and all will help. We need to get it on TFN. I'll see if I can get it mentioned in the Bartlett Express and Memphis Flyer.

Any other suggestions?

 

I'm afraid that if I supersize the meal, then some of the older, more worn-out SW celebs may not survive to see the end of TC1. That much cholesterol... well, you get the picture.

Yeah, TFN would be a good place to post a blurb about it. The Commercial Appeal will be useless as usual, but there's always the Flyer.

 

I'm there! Anybody have extra table space, or want to share my table if I bring one? In addition to SW stuff, I would like to bring some hand-turned magic wands and maybe some of my own sculpture.
I will tell my friend who is a Joe-collector who is just getting into SW again.

Hey Tim if you havent yet put the McDonald gang down for one of those table spots. The spots marked off is there room for two tables like maybe in an "L" shape or somthing or just one.

Get about 2,000 flyers and I'll drop them off at every rest area from here to Memphis!

Actually we need to do that for the Haunt also...
