Daeshara'cor: Now there's another example of a just introduced Jedi character whose death lacked emotional depth. Why? Because her development in Ruin wasn't enough for me to come to care for her. Same thing for Ikrit. For those readers who had no previous knowledge of his existence, his death lacked the emotional impact it was supposed to represent to Anakin. If the Wurth Skidder example had been followed, then all readers (not just the JJK readers) might have felt something at the death of Ikrit.
