Tix on Fandango

Thanks for the heads-up, guys! I just went over to Fandango and bought a pair of midnight tickets!

NorCalBirdz, don't be fooled. Fandango has tickets for midnight showings, but they have them listed as "Wednesday, May 18th."

My friend got his yesterday just by calling the theater. I didn't know this was possible, I guess Florida is the promised land.

I'm gonna call my theatre as soon as it opens.

 

Got my midnight tickets. None of the local theatres had midnight showings so it's gonna be about a 30 minute drive away. No big deal. Man I'm so hyped.

 

Don't worry, my theaters haven't started listing the midnight showings yet either.. they said they will for Monday (where I live)

 

Alright! I'm in! Not my first choice of theaters, but it will do!

So- even though ticket options were announced on force.net days ago my theatre- the Arclight in Hollywood said on its website that they didn't know when tickets would become available. Then last nite my friend randomly checks their site to find out they'd gone on sale completely unannounced on a Friday evening. We rushed over to buy tickets as it's just around the corner and lo and behold all midnight screenings were sold out. I'll be seeing it at 5:15 on the 19th. I'm fairly grief-stricken over this. And hoping the pain is numbed by the fact that I'll be seeing it 3 more times that weekend.

 

My local theater doesn't have midnight showings posted yet. Regulars, but not midnight. Still, it's an improvement from before the weekend.

They did midnights for AOTC so I assume things are just behind.

I already have purchased my advance tickets. I did that last night as a matter of fact for the midnight showing.

Picked them up today, right before I got my copy of Traitor signed.

Yes, they should be available at most major theater chains and others by now. I'm still not sure about DLP theaters, though.

Got mine for midnight! Just have to figure out how many times to see it on the 19th, cos I leave for vacation in England the next day! Though the friend I'm taking might object to seeing it 3x in one day.

 

A true tale of shocking horror:

I reloaded Fandango at 8 PM. Nothin' for midnight.

I reloaded Fandango at 9:30 PM. Listing!

I tried to buy tickets. Sold out! noooooo!


So I ran down to the theater and talked to two assistants and a manager. The manager said that he had no control over Fandango, that plans for a midnight screening were not finalized and that no tickets had been sold yet.

Anyway, long story short, if you check Fandango and it's sold out and you're all like "how did it go from non-existent to sold out in ninety minutes" then you should be like me and go talk to a human being.

I got my tickets this morning. Never having used fandango before, I have to admit I'm a little worried that I'll show up at midnight and the theater will say "sorry, those aren't real. you can't come in."

 

GOT MY TICKETS.

FINALLY-FINALLY-FINALLY, AAAAAAAAAAAH!

Twelve midnight.

Six tickets.

Third movie.

One saga.

And half of my tickets are for girls.

Does anybody know the official running time of ROTS? Couldn't find it on fandango or IMDB.
