Not a very efficient way to identify a food thief- what if their hands are simply covered in pee and you've falsely accused them? I pee on my hands all the time- doesn't make me a thief.

I knew you guys would just be ignorant instead of asking. I use a blacklight for diagnosis. For your information, all brand new vehicles have a dye added to the Freon in their ac systems. When there is a leak we use the blacklight to find cause of the leak. We can also add dye to your ac after it its evacuated. We also have dyes that work in transmission and oil and coolant. Allows us to do our jobs when a leak isn't readily available. There are dyes you can buy that you simply put it on the packaging of the hot pockets that are not seen until you apply a light. Oh and you don't need to see peoples hands. you can check to see where they might have been and then track it to the source. If you have to then yes you can see their hands. Use some detective work. It will pay off. Best part is when you find the guilty party they will glow.
Although, if you want to you could put a note on the box. Stating that they have dye on them. The guilty party will be found by using a black light. They will be reported to human resources and their bosses. If that doesn't deter them then start using the dye.

Good idea but they are all frozen so execution could be problematic unless you thaw them first. Plus if the thief doesn't work near you then you won't get to see the reaction. You would have to find out thru coworkers.

 

Yeah... it's much more feasible to set up a homeland security type check point and demand to check everybody's hands with a black light.
