Although it'd be interesting to see the Antilles/Solo/Skywalker/Fel family tree, I don't want Jaina to get involved with Jag, Zekk, or Kyp (especially not Kyp). Will Anakin (Solo) be the only descendant of the Chosen One to fall for somebody younger?

Has anyone considered that from a biological standpoint the Jaina and Jag thing wouldn't work?

Take this example, for instance:

Horse + Donkey = Mule

Horse and Donkey both can produce viable offspring, but a Mule is sterile. That's because a Horse and a Donkey aren't of the same species.

Now, I'm not sure what happens in the GFFA in terms of inter-species reproduction, but my guess is that they'd probably stick to such an important rule of biological science since there are a lot of humans walking around the GFFA. So, I believe Chiss and Humans can't produce viable offspring, so the Jaina and Jag thing is a dead end.

But if she was to get 'knocked up', I'd say it would be Jag who is the top bet for the run on side, with a long shot being Kyp making the substitutes bench...

I stopped reading the NJO after that and started again with Conquest, so now I have to go get Agents of Chaos and Jedi Eclipse. (I already got Balance Point and ick, I am not a Jacen fan! The Jaina parts were cool, but I missed having the Kypster in there. The only places his name was mentioned were where characters were thinking about how bad he was! )

I don't think humans and non-humans can produce offspring at all. Ganner and Asyr might have been looking into adoption because their potential offspring would not be able to reproduce, but I think it was insinuated that a Human and a Bothan couldn't have offspring at all. I can't really recall any cases of human hybrids in the EU, and Human/Alien mating seems like much more of a Star Trek thing to me.

Every other instance in the the movies and eu when a jedi makes the choking guesture, the victim dies. Why is it assumed luke only put them to sleep? WHy would that event be the exception?

The Gamorreans were definitely knocked unconscious. Luke did not kill them.
