To me, Point Rain and Weapons Factory would've done nicely as the battle, not really the whole brain infection phenomena.

So, shouldn't this thread have been closed by now? Seerow spoke of closing this one Wednesday night and about opening the poll thread for S3.

I think a certain someone wants 'Voyage of Temptation' to get a few more votes ;) It'll just have to be the wildcard :p

^ What he said. 'Point Rain' is 1st, 'Intrigue' gets 2nd place.

I'd close the poll before 'Cargo' overtakes 'Voyage' and gets third place, although I do like that one better :p

In retrospect, I'm surprised how many great episodes were in Season 2. I might argue it had the least number of cringe-worthy moments.

...except that last "But you started it!" line by Boba.

Season 2 is my favorite season followed by season 4. Alot of great episodes.

It looks like "Landing at Point Rain'' and "Grievous Intrigue'' take the poll.

Aww yeah, Grievous makes it through again! I wonder if he can do it for 'ARC Troopers' next, I think that's the episode he was in the most in season three.

Loool, now you have to do a tie breaker poll between 'Cargo' and 'Voyage'.

That probably would've made more real-world sense, no? Tactically speaking, I mean?

I'm not particularly well-versed in medecine, so I could be way off the mark here, but it seems to me that a penetrating chest wound - even with a lethal heart injury - would leave a person conscious for a time and (barring an accompanying spinal cord injury) still in control of their motor functions to at least some degree. Perhaps someone here with a medical background could offer their opinion?

Now, given the situation Anakin faced, common sense tells me that targeting the brain stem might be the better option and, in the case of a lightsaber (taking into consideration both general Jedi philosophy and the efficiency with which a cho mai / sun maneuver can be executed), your idea to go for the offending hand / arm is probably the better alternative, still. Oh, and uh, yeah - keeping Merrick alive sure would've made for a nice bonus.

Not that, in the heat of the moment, Anakin Skywalker ever cared a bit about any of that.

Oh, and AkashKedavra is correct, Duchess of Mandalore is the best episode Season 2 had to offer. The depiction of McQuarrie's Monument Plaza alone (the absolute coolest look at Coruscant yet) gives it the edge over the rest of the competition. There's no need for me to list all the other goodies the episode boasts, as everyone here already knows. Yeah, it's pretty much case-closed, I'd say. "Carry on. Nothing more to see here." :D

The Mandalorian assassin was weak though. And the Satine/Obi-Wan dynamic was displayed better in "Voyage".

I thought that Mando assassin was awesome. He really gave Obi-wan a hard time. He was one of TCW's more threatening one shot villains.

Huh, weird that we have the exact opposite impression of him. I just thought for an assassin he should be able to aim.

Well, obviously Kenobi was safe and the writers clearly had more they felt they could do with Satine. The assassin seemed to have no trouble aiming at Golec, though. ;)

Eh, according to TCW everyone gives Obi-Wan a hard time; even in Revival he was lucky that Randy didn't kill him when Maul had him in a Force choke (he was helpless at that moment) and then the fight was ended not by victory, but by the ceiling collapse.

I have resigned myself to Obi-Wan surviving by "luck" or as he would call it "will of the Force" or as some fans call it "plot armor."
