I have a conference call tomorrow and I have lesson planning to do. However, I will do everything in bed!

Apparently my university doesn't believe in celebrating the presidents. Or Columbus.


TBH I'm perfectly fine with the latter, but Monday would be nice.

 

3 day weekend here.

I'll finally have the chance to take my daughter to see TPM.

 

My old university observes both Washington's birthday and Lincoln's birthday between Christmas and New Years.

I get today off only because I don't work Saturdays.

Just don't be surprised/get all dramatic if the employees seem bitter, tired or in that "I clearly don't give a ****" attitude. Everyday sucks in retail, but on "holidays", when you know there's more people sniffing around your store because "everyone" has the day off, it's hell on another level.
