Today's Lunch...

Okay, hubby did a change up on me. Due to time, we went to a place next to the marina that's close to the office. I had the smoked salmon. Twas tastey.

 

Sounds like a nice outing with your hubby, Kate. Glad you enjoyed your lunch.

 

It was nice. I'm hoping I can convince him that we need to get out of here early so we can enjoy the beautiful day!

 

Does he work in the same place you do?

 

I work at his company on Fridays to help out with various and sundry items.

 

Oohhhh. Now it all makes sense.

 

I don't have a husband to spend my Friday afternoon with...

But my dad worked just fine. We had tuna salad sandwiches and Capri suns while on the lake.

 

A slice of Sam's Club pizza. Which wasn't bad, by the way.

 

Sam's Club pizza isn't bad at all. If my mom and I are there shopping, we'll usually stop and have a slice.

I didn't have lunch today. I only ate dinner (Outback). But I did have some Peanut Butter on Nilla Wafers as a snack. That could kind of count as lunch.

 

hm, lunch... well let's see, I woke up at about 11 today, so breakfast was the same as lunch. I had toast and coffee

 

I woke up at 8:30 this morning. I think that's a personal record for a Saturday morning.

I had a Hungry Man tv dinner which included salisbury steak with mushrooms, mashed potatos, apple crisp, carrots, and green beans. Not bad.

 

I had a hamburger a few moments ago with some of that cheese I've mentioned over the past few days here.

hm.... let's see, I woke up late again, but my lunch consisted of ice cream. Terrible. I know I went for a run after that and ended up feeling as though I would throw up.
Lesson of the day: don't eat ice cream and then go for a 3 mile run.

 

That doesn't sound like fun whatsoever.

The eating ice cream part sounds like fun.

Heh, it's ok. At least you didn't actually get sick, so it's all good.

I just don't run. Period.

 

Yeah, it's better not to actually throw up I've never done that when running before, just felt pretty sick sometimes

Aw, running's fun..... but only when you haven't eaten ice cream beforehand!

 

I felt bad for all of my friends in school who had PE right after lunch, and they had to run the mile and such. I was always like, "sucks to be you!!!"

But my body just wasn't made for running, that's all. Some people are made for it, others aren't.

 

Yeah that is true I suppose. It took me a year to actually make myself into a runner though

Running after eating really isn't fun

 

I don't really run, I usually hit the treadmill for 35 minutes every evening to try to work off some empty calories. And I'm starting to get into a nightly pushup routine.

I never thought I'd ever be taking my health so seriously.

 

I really don't need to take health seriously, but I suppose it makes me feel better so I go ahead and do that anyway

I need to start running again. All this eating and no exercise is packing on the weight.

But eating is sooooo good. Today I had diner food for brunch. Two eggs over-easy with wheat toast and a glass of orange juice.

Tonight I just bounded around the room while listening kickass music. I just didn't want to do any real exercising tonight.
