Neverwinter: Neverwinter Saga, Book II and Star Wars: Darth Plagueis
It's been a long time since I have bought an EU book.

 

Loving the Plagueis book so far. It just now occured to me that the cover is a nod to the Vader/Palps hologram scene in Empire.

Bought today: Brimstone Angels: A Forgotten Realms Novel (Neverwinter Nights) I do not like the cover art as the tiefling horns are so dumb.

Also bought Star Wars: Riptide

Yes, I bought another SW EU book. Sue me. Yellow lightsaber and I assume Jedi Sentinel?

 

haven't read this but luceno's really good at creating the feel of the movies in his writing. i should probably check this out.

The Blockbusters here is moving location and selling all their stock. So I picked up Avengers, Hunger Games, Hugo, Tin Tin, Tangled and The Lion King, all on Blu-Ray, for way cheap. I felt really bad about it when I thought they were just closing but have less guilt now that I know it's to move.

Bought Blu Ray Fringe Season 1, 2, and 3 to celebrate the purchase of a brand-spankin' new 60" TV! Unfortunately, they didn't have season 4. Each set cost $22!

 

I splurged and bought seasons 1-4 of Clone Wars on blu-ray.

 

I bought Community season 3 on DVD for $15.

 

Purchased the rogue-like FTL: Faster Than Light, which was released on Sept 14 following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Have already died horribly in the 3rd sector - I like it.

 

Lately I've bought a few compilations from Rough Trade Shops. These CDs are wonderful collections of alternative music and a great way to discover new bands.

Today I also found a copy of Simon and Garfunkel's Live in New York City 1967, which I have wanted for years.

 

Doctor Who: The Tennant Years for $70 on Amazon.

Packaging be damned, I hope it's good.

 

I had to show off the new Storm Trooper case I bought for my iphone today! Check out the reflection in the black part of the eyes. So excited! It has truly been a Star Wars Weekend over here...(with a little bit of Dr Who thrown in the mix!)
