Ohio Toledo Blade looking to speak with SW fans

I just received this e-mail today:
Hi. I'm a reporter for The Toledo Blade newspaper. We're doing a future story for which we'd like to include some local Star Wars fans. We want to talk to Star Wars and Star Trek fans about the merits of the two series -- actually get a few together for a discussion. Josh Vardous with the Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club suggested your name. Think you would be interested at all? We're trying to get something together at the end of this week or early next week. Let me know what you think -- I can explain more. Thanks.

I'll likely talk to him although I really don't know much about the Star Trek genre.

EDIT: He is hoping to get the fans together in person either Friday or Monday.

 

Sounds interesting. I bet they're just looking to get a fight doing between Star Wars fans and Trekkies.

I don't know that I could make it, but I'm sure you'd represent us all very well Kim.

 

The thing will be Tuesday evening 6:30 or 7.
And I did warn him that I don't really know much about Star Trek.
I"m a SW fan, but not a Sci-Fi fan.

Well, looks like my presence is perhaps not needed, so I went ahead and picked up a shift at my new job for Tuesday night. Yay for nice new jobs that we actually enjoy...

Yes. It did. Last Tuesday.
I wan't the most pleased with the write up. So I didn't really post much about it.
