Right you are.
What was minas morgul fromerly called and what does it mean?
Theoden: So it has come to this.
Only Graal and Myself. The longest thread in NZ and it's drying up.
oh the answer you're looking for Graal is:
Meaning: 'Tower of Black Sorcery'
Other Names: Moontower, Tower of Sorcery
There is a tower in Minis Tirith that is named after someone, what is it and who was the person who it's named after (i.e relation to whom?)
Umm you're only half right you haven't said what it was formerly called.....
Though a White Tower had graced the highest point of Minas Tirith since ancient times, it was rebuilt by Steward Ecthelion I some three centuries before the War of the Ring, and so gained his name. The Tower of Ecthelion was used to bear the standard of the City, and - at least during the last years of the Third Age - held the palantÃr known as the Anor-stone.
do those "other names" not include what it use to be called?
Minas Ithial (spelling is probably wrong)
Minas Morgul was formerly called Minas Ithil - meaning 'Tower of the Moon'.
