i looked at pictures of found homeless dogs all day, hoping i might spot mine. it was kind of emotionally exhausting.

 

look, he is going to come back. he is going to miss you and cut his exploratory adventure short and he's gonna run to you.

Put some of his/her stuff outside (blanket, toys, etc). He'll pick up on his scent.

I'm sorry you can't find your dog.
